Chris trained to be a teacher at Matlock College and went on to work at various Primary Schools in Birmingham and Derbyshire with Hunloke Park School, Wingerworth the most recent. She retired in 1983 at the same time as her husdand Harold and together they enjoyed their time on many holidays and pursuing interests.
